The "Round The Lough Series" will be run over five Sundays.  There will be a round the cans course with a time limit of 2hrs 30 mins.  Racing should finish by approx 1630hrs.  Where possible, Sunday "Round the Lough" racing will not follow a Saturday event so that crews are not committed to two days in a row.

Races will be hosted by a different club each week.  Clubs provide bar and catering facilities for competitors after racing so come ashore and enjoy the "apres race" craic and prize giving.  The clubs generously sponsor a bottle for the winner of each class on the day's racing.  The classes are IRC1, IRC2, NHC1, NHC2, NHC Restricted sail.

All boats have a chance of winning the bottle based on the principle of "Quoile Rule 6".  Come along and learn the intricacies of this strange practice.

Those members of SLRCA who participate in the chosen offshore races are able to compete for the two Offshore Trophies.

Every year we hold our Prize Giving Dinner to celebrate the season's successes and present the Trophies.
